I figured of all people, you’d appreciate a top 10 list.
Your list being: 1) he didn’t start any new wars, just kept the old ones dragging on; 2) the economy hasn’t completely nose-dived?
Those 10 + 2 are pretty thin, and a few could well back-fire.
Shoot! If only obama had accomplished anything of substance these past 3 1/2 years, like reforming healthcare or something….

My two items on John Smart blog were just to respond to you why Obama is average. To me, there were no shining achievement not there were horrible failures so far in the presidency. If I try to list the main point, besides the 2, I get the same results on most.
Afghanistan – we were there before 2008, we will be there after 2012.
Iraq – he ended it, and the country did not collapse yet. But the end of the war is as much Bush’s surge as any Obama work.
Bin Laden – he gave the order, but it’s not like he personally found him and killed him.
Healthcare, Dodd-Frank – good intentions, horrible execution.
Libya: not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing – because of the intervention, they avoided a slaughter but might go into a civil war instead. At least no American lives were lost and the cost of the operation was relatively low,
Deficit: definitely not a good thing, but we are not Greece, and there is still plenty we could borrow because the world just does not have that many alternative safe assets to put the money in.

Ah, yes, but I don’t believe there were good intentions behind obamacare. It was a devious bait & switch.
I advocated intervention in Libya when obama was dragging his feet and ignoring the sound advice of his SoS and others:

However, the cost of letting obama get away with violating the WPA and the Constitution is, in fact, very high.
Killing ObL, which I disapproved of, nevertheless was very popular, and provided barry with the largest of his fleeting poll bumps to date.

I think the intention of Obamacare was to reduce the medical costs and cover as many people as possible. But with a ton of provisions and loopholes tacked on to get the votes to get it passed, it may not achieve much.
Libya intervention happened at about the right time, that is, not until the Arab League actually asked for it.
Iraq war should not have began in the first place, so it’s makes little sense to credit Bush for ending it.
Yes, “it could have been worse” is a good one too. But even though I voted for him then, I did not have high expectations, so my disappointment is manageable.
Please do an Ad showing that Romney signed a Pledge not to raise taxes with Grover Norquist and in so doing does not have the country’s interest at the core. Most of Americans want fair taxes and tax reform….NOT ROMNEY
We could also do an ad praising obama for repealing the Bush tax cuts for the rich in 2009, when he had Democratic majorities in Congress.
